It was a story that deserved a 10 issue run. He takes his time getting to the point of fully explaining Ollie’s return from the grave. I also liked the way Kevin paced the book. Oliver reconnecting with Dinah (Black Canary) was genuinely heartfelt and didn’t come off as cheesy. He’s also pretty good with character’s interactions. Well, he did a bitchin’ job.įirst off, I like Smith’s dialogue. Kevin was tasked with successfully resurrecting the original Green Arrow after he had been dead for a few years. I’m not a big Green Arrow guy (or “Arrow” fan for that matter), I've really only enjoyed 2 other “resurrection” stories (Red Hood and Winter Soldier), and I’m not a die-hard Kevin Smith fanatic. The packaging was excellent and my copy of Quiver made it through unscathed and in brilliant quality.For me, this has got to be the best stuff Kevin Smith has done in terms of comics. The product is reasonably priced and shipped out in good time. In regards to the seller I highly rate them. It was because of this back when I first read it that inspired me to take up an Illustration Degree and get myself out into the comic/graphic novel scene. The story is thrilling and the Illustrations are just what cater to how I think a good comic should look like. I've read up on the comics online and now I've decided to collect physical copies of the volume from my favorite story line starting with Quiver. But my greatest love ever since I first watched the first episode of Justice league Unlimited was Ollie Queen aka. Nearly ten years or so ago I started watching the classic DC animated series' such as the 90's animated Batman, Batman Beyond, Justice league, Justice league unlimited and Teen Titans when they were airing on Cartoon Network (Toonami) I've forever been in love with the DC universe of superheroes.
